Controller Issues

If you are running an older and/or a non-XInput controller and find yourself having issues, you can use x360ce[www.x360ce.com] to emulate XInput and solve most issues.

To use x360ce:
  • Download the 32-bit version and place x360ce.exe in steamapps/common/The Man in the Cape Special Edition.
  • Run x360ce.exe and allow it to generate xinput1_3.dll. Configure your controller.
  • Close x360ce and rename xinput1_3.dll to xinput9_1_0.dll.
  • Run the game.
