PROPER WORMS 1995 CONTROLS

Since there is one hell of a mess about in game controls (even the Knowledge Base isn't completely trustable) let's try together to reconstruct a proper controls list for this gem of a game. Could be really useful, for example, to map a controller with Xpadder.

Left/Right: Move
Up/Down: Aim
Enter: Forward Jump
Mouse: Move Cursor/Camera
Right Mouse Button: Weapons Menu
Left Mouse Button: Select Weapon
Delete: Toggles Worms Informations
F1 to F12: Switch Weapons in Weapons Group

IIRC, Left Shift is to jump backwards.

already tried, looks like there is only the forward jump in the original 1995 game.

Did you try Right Shift? It's been a while but I remember being able to high-jump backwards in the DOS original.

If I remember correctly, Double-Enter will do a back flip instead of forward jump.

Yeah at least in the PS1 version there was no backflip so I reckon the PC version doesn't have it either.

Other keys : to change the delay of grenades, use numbers from 1 to 5

[Staals]

Plus or minus to change the bounciness of grenades or cluster/banana/mole bombs, and as iOlivier said 1-5 to change the explosion delay of grenades or cluster/banana/mole bombs

C--center the cemera to back to your worm.
M- zooming in/out.
TAB- select worm

back in 95 IIRC you couldn't preform a backflip..
funny thing that I had WORMS 95 game (not united version), and I can remember if you pressed R key rapidly right afteryour shot it would made a replay of your last shot.

edit: cheat for unlimited super weapoms typing bobjob ,to disable type - bojbob

You can also use right click to select a weapon too. Does anyone knew how to rotate things, like girders from pacement? I can't seem to find that one.

Was wondering as well how the controls of this game worked, seeing as I was seriously struggling to work out how to jump or switch weapons without a guide for the controls here!
