worms reinforcements was a cd of new content to patch the vanilla 95 game,
year after T17 released the "united" game which is like we know today as "GOTY" edition.
I owned the original 95 pc version, and straight away I noticed it is the newer edition..
But you should not be woried-as it has more features than the original..
The diffirences of the newer version are:
Challenge Mode with 25 single-player missions on preset landscapes
Network play over IPX or modem (in its time -not today- at least I don't know if it's possible nowadays)
Ability to import custom landscapes and sound banks (was already possible in the Amiga Worms)
New weapon, Mole Bomb
Worm Select with Tab key at the beginning of each turn
Retreat time at the end of each turn (default 3 seconds)
Fall damage
Stockpiling option (weapons will carry over to the next round)
Health crates which restore 50 health on pickup
Booby-trapped crates that explode on pickup
Dud mines
Option to change mine explosion delay (0/1/2/3 seconds or random)
New terrain
Selectable gravestones
I would suggest to buy it on a sale only (at GOG it was at $0.85 )
For me- it makes so much memories and nostalgia.. I've never had the united edition, so for me it was a must have...playing the missions, and testing other features, playing hotseat (lol rarly nowadays) with relatives is the most fun.
