Black Screen on Game Start?

Gameloads up then can't see i hear what appears to be Childs Music or something? But the "Once again i assume is the title screen" Is black...can't see how to choose anything can't even exit the game properly have to Task Manager it" I had the game for 5mins I just bought it today 1-12-18 haven't even played it Once...Just been sitting at Black Screen.

Also would like to add After i Task Manager the game my screen is still black and will not come back. Still black after the game is closed up. Is this game going to ruin my Monitors? How do i get my screen back? Besides Restarting my computer?

How do i dxdiag? Its not saying report errors or anything..maybe it is but i can't see the screen i do have my settings on Live so anyone can see it but not sure if you would see what i see.

There isn't any options to do anything when i start the game it says Fade to silence as that little box then the game starts and then Black screen all the way to the menu.

Windows 10

1. Click in the search bar

2. Enter DxDiag and hit ok.

3. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.

4. Click on, "Save all information".

5. "Save As" window should be present.

6. Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as DxDiag.txt)

7. Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Windows 7 / 8.1

1. Click on, "Start Button".

2. Click on, "Run".

3. In the pop-up window enter DxDiag and hit ok.

4. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.

5. Click on, "Save all information".

6. "Save As" window should be present.

7. Click on, "Save" (The file should be saved to your desktop as DxDiag.txt)

8. Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

Attach to the email and send me.

Also, you have to add the command line on steam, right click on the game in your steam library and the settings.

Ok give me 1 sec i have to restart my computer again after retrying to run the game. Could i possibly send you a video clip of me starting the game and the black screen before and after the game fails to start?

WOW it just worked!! i could see the screen and everything!! What was that Update just now?

OK it did it again.... I dont know but tis very depressing...WHY U NOT WORK... but in all seriousness for the 1st time i did see somethings then i clicked off to say YAY it worked but now black screen... i got it recorded on i'll send link soon

the game is rly good for playing but need more lag and fps to fix to be more playable for all ppl try to make some more pc settigns cause its for ps and xbox i think :D wish you all the best

We are working on fixing the FPS issues and the performance stuff, we just launched a new patch today and another experimental branch to test even more stuff for FPS and performance.
