Fatal error...AGAIN !!

So I posted a message yesterday with a fatal error. Because I have some time and wanted to play the game, i started a new game (and the game worked). But after like 4 hours, I have the same message and the game close. I try to load the same game but I get the same message again and again... Therefore it is not possible to play the game anymore. This is an URGENT bug, you need to focus on this ASAP. Because right now, the game is broken. I know it is an early access but i pay for it and this is a killing bug.

Hello the same problem after I found the third partner the game flew off creating a new game starting to play the same thing just fatal eror!!! Yup think most of us are getting this Fatal Error, started a new game after a mob was crashing my game after he got stuck. now after 3 hours of starting over, just got Ryn and Jin, 5 min after getting Jin to the base its crashing 1 second after the " inner Voice " tells me ill be just Fine.. ( the message says to take followers with me when i go out hunting ) and Boom crash... Fatal error

tried relogging but we all know that dont work lol... well look forward to this annocement

i finally got it too. Seems like it was after 12-15 hours of playing this save. I usually die off way before then :(
I did start a new game but it would be nice to know if I need to change settings before starting.

I switched over to the Experimental option and my saved game does load and I can play again meaning I did not get the Fatal Error after 10 to 15 secs. I did not have any time to really play though so I thought I would quit and pick it up tomorrow. Anyway, now I am getting a Fatal Error when I quit. I don't know what that means in the scheme of things because when I hit the Fatal Error OK button, I exit like I want to.

So, I will try and play the game tomorrow and see what happens and see how far I get. It is better now but the Fatal Error message has moved to when I quit now. But I really did not play for more than 2 or 3 minutes. Thanks.

its getting mixed results but that the point of an exp branch I do hope it runs better for you. But keep at it and post any bugs or issues you find

epermental in the experimental forums
and normal build probs the the tech forums


I'd even go as far as prefixing you post regardles with

*Experimental Build*
or
*Normal Build*

just to help speed the process along.

Hello. How do you access the experiemental beta. I go follow the step but steam ask for a beta code. If i leave it empty it does not save the change and do not update the game

Try restarting your steam.

it doesnt need a code, just select it and steam will auto download.

when its done you will see "hotfix2" in the main menu



the code is for private testing branches for games. your safe to just select and go ahead

well i restarted steam, and nothing happen. Even if i click laucnh the game it won't laucnh it... and the game shortcup does nto work also...

Its a 40mb download so it should be quick to update

it will say "Fade to Silence [experimental]" in your games list

if it does then verify the game files.
-right click > properties > local files then click on verify integrity of game files


if it doesn't then steam may have borked the download/install so try deleveting the game and trying again fresh install
