Why do people hate it?

I dont get it Devs if you read this dont worry the game is very good and I cant wait for the bug fixes and content!

It kinda annoys me because I almost didnt buyed the game cause of all the bad reviews but then I saw that almost all bad reviews are people who claim that the game lags all the time or people who cry about the game beeing too hard.

I dont have any frame drops nor graphic issues - just get a better pc.

And god people hate games if they are too easy people hate games when they are too hard you cant make it right and this bothers me so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much cause I enjoy it so much and I hate to say that but if you have problems with the difficulty - get gud.


I swear I actually never saw a more stupider review section on Steam. You people should be ashamed just refund it and go on with your life but now a very great game goes towards the negative without any proper reason.

People intend to place negative reviews rather quick if there is something they don't like, some lag? Negative! to hard? Negative! not loading? Negative! Etc. what they do forget however is that they buy an Early Acces game, and i believe many people do not know what that concludes.

People never compare the good things with the bad things, all they see is negative things so they quickly draw the negative card. that is in my opinion the case on how and why they do that.

i never look at the reviews on steam anymore, i always check the forums of the game and just google for review sites or watch some gameplay and judge for myself. the reviews on steam are broken and not worth it.

well while you two are right concerning this games, there are on the other hands so many positive reviews about ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games that is even more annoying, witcher3, fallout4 are "blockbuster games" which is just insulting
and its not just magazines its steam reviews too

What’s annoying is that whole get a better pc comment. People are having frame issues with high end PCs and low end ones. Just because you are not does not mean it’s not happening.

Hey That Van Boch.

People hate different games for different reasons, sadly, however, Valve doesn´t remove reviews that come from people that did refund the game or reviews that are from people that have 10 mins within the game and in fact, never played the game.

That being said, everyone has different tastes and different levels of tolerance. What you may see as normal others see as annoying and things you might see as annoying some others may see as easy mode.

It isn´t uncommon for an early access game to get a lot of flak in the start of it´s release as people have been burned a lot of times by other devs/publishers across the time and don´t really read dev respondses or annouces as they just get the mindset "oh it is another game that is like this one that sucked" It happens all the time, best we can do is to respond to both the negative and postive feedback and even the reviews and talk to people and see what is up and why they are reacting the way they are.

steam is full of idiots running old pc's that buy 2017 games then cry in reviews

The biggest problem, with reviews these days, is you have a bunch of children, that have never worked for anything, have never accomplished anything, expect everything and cry about everything that isn't exactly how they think it should be. I have read many, many reviews, for all types of games and there arre so many people that just outright lie, it is absolutely pathetic. You also have a particular group of these kids, that tend to try to bully devs into giving them their way. They think if they can swing the reviews, in a negative way, that the devs will have no choice, but to give them what they want. Also, many of them like to blow things way out of proportion. They are actually ruining the industry, to a certain extent. Steam needs to do a much better job with age verification.

KWPops, yea I couldnt agree more I startet to watch lets plays before I buy games in this case IGP brought me here and Im glad.

I would say go read the negative reviews of games first then buy it and if you thing it deserves negative reviews refund it thats pretty much all you can do. Wouldnt hurt if we all write positive ones wich I will actually do now.

And I know its off topic and all and we shouldnt probably discuss other games but I just dont understand how a sane person could say Witcher 3 is ♥♥♥♥.

If its not your type of game you dont get to say that you just say "Its not my type of game"

I dont go around and talk ♥♥♥♥ about Fifa games just because I despise soccer.


Thats why I dont belive you guys when you say you have played it. Because The Witcher 3 has a vast open world wich is richly filled with all sorts of stuff to do. The dialogues are good the characters are intertessting and you get alot of different places like the Skellige Islands. They just put so much love in the game with so much little things that reminds the player of things he read in books or seen in another witcher game...

Of course if you dont like this type of game I can praise it all I want but you dont get to say for example "I love Skyrim but I hate Witcher 3" You just cant and if you do sorry but you should die.
