Final mission not working

I have made it to the final mission, once I kill off alll the enemy worms I, make a bridge acros and jump up the mountain to the proffesor and nothing happens. Has anyone else had this issue?

Sorry to hear that you're having this problem.
This level is a standard deathmatch.
Provided that you've defeated all of the other worms, this should end the level.
If the cinematic doesn't trigger as soon as you land on the professors island, please explore the island a bit and try climbing it.

I am having the same problem ! I already explored every single part of the Proffessor's island and nothing happens !! Help please ? (I even tried to kill the professor once, maybe that was the mission, but nah, I lose...

Hi there I have the exactly same problem, I've even stepped in front of the professor but nothing happened.

Can you please make sure that you've done the above steps:

Provided that you've defeated all of the other worms, this should end the level.
If the cinematic doesn't trigger as soon as you land on the professor's island, please explore the island a bit and try climbing it.

Can you please also try verifying your game files:

1. Right-click on the game in your Steam Library, choose Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and press Verify integrity of game files...
   
2. Attempt to run the game to see if the issue is resolved.

I've already defeated all the other worms, you can see from the mini map of the screenshot I posted. I even tried to kill the professor once but nothing changed.
As you can see I've already made myself right in front of the professor. Before doing this I also tried to walk through every corner of the island. But still, no luck.

Also I haven't use any kind of modify tool. I have run verifying integrity of game files and it didn't report any problem. I will have to defeat the worms again in the game so I will post the result after that.

Hi there, I've cleared the mission 25 again after verifying integrity of game files with steam. I still can not trigger the cinematic at first. So I went back to the main island and crossed the sea in a differernt place using the gilders left. And this time it worked.
It seems that I have to cross the river(or sea) from the east corner of the main island. If I cross it from the west corner, no matter where else do I go it won't work.

It will be greatly appreciated if you could fix this problem, so the new comers will be happier for not having to finish this mission for many times. I've been loving this game from 10 years ago and I hope it can be better. Thank you.
