Gingiva game breaking bug - I know this is the wrong forum

Sorry for posting a question about Gingiva in this forum but there is a bug that makes it impossible to finish Gingiva. I'm not the only one experiencing it.

When you (Gingiva) talk to Magistrate in the tombs he tells you to feed his children after which you should be transported into his stash of soul essences like in here (time 45:55):

The thing is nothing happens and few comments on youtube mention the same problem. I can walk all around the room freely and even leave it. I've tried to talk to Magistrate dozen times without any result. He just finishes his talk and I'm not transported to the stash.

Any chance for a fix or a suggestion how to fix this?

I'm playing Gingiva 2.62 on Windows 10.

It's not a glitch since the game doesn't transition from there. That Let's Player edited the video so that the actual progression's cut off. You need to backtrack. The true path is shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGfsTdEGDWQ

Besides this the version shown in the video is pre-expansion so there's likely other discrepancies. Well wishes

Thank you! That was the real problem, I haven't thought about backtracking.

Now I can finally play "Where They Cremate The Roadkill".

Also thanks for creating those extraordinary games. They're a breath of fresh air (straight from the Rift).
