The Middens and Gingiva: precursor game titles you should check out.

If you're in any way interestted in WTCTR, you should certainly check out these related free titles which are from some of the same creators and from the same "series" as WTCTR.

Reoccuring themes and characters appear in these games, it's by no means required that you play these games in order to fully enjoy WTCTR, but instead to enjoy with it.

The Middens

A time nomad finds a mysterious companion in a strange patchwork world, and embarks on a mission to cleanse it in order to save it from itself. This is an RPG which has you aimlessly wandering surreal environments, meeting a plethora of interesting and varied entities along the way.

Gingiva

A factory worker with dreams of a better life, down on her luck, bumps into a pair of talking teeth, and together they break out of their tedious lives to engage on an adventure to destroy their opressors and realize their purposes. A more traditional, linear RPG with much more fleshed out individual characters, boss fights, and a more coherent but equally surreal environment as The Middens.

Again, it's not a requirement that you play these games before, after or alongside WTCTR, but I personally highly reccomend you do just for the added experience and enjoyment you'll likely get.
