Bug remembering video position with DLNA and M3U playlists

I'm using KODI as a DLNA server and M3U playlists for videos - works fine, but if I change a playlist, MoonVR seems to remember the details of the wrong video - both type and progress - suspect it's the position in the playlist it's remembering. I can fix if I delete all MoonVR data before running - but that's a pain. Anyone else finding this ??
