Mostly negative and not for the reasons it should be. Already put in a bit of time and I'm very much liking this bold new direction. Patrol Mode is basically what you get if you put Titanfall and Escape From Tarkov into a pure mech cockpit game play. But as a pure single player experience. Also at least for me, I had no hiccups at all. Everything ran smoothely and dialogue and such streamed/played just fine. I say this as this is a very early access build that (if the vets just shut the ♥♥♥♥ up and quit ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because "no PVP" whaaah!

These folks would realize PVP is what ♥♥♥♥♥♥ OG Hawken in the first place. Whoch Reborn already has far more meat on its bones than OG Hawken ever did. So take them stupid nostyalgia glasses off and sucj up or piss off. Your feedback isn't feedback.

Now what I could see the devs doing in the future is having Patrol Mode be a mix of PVE and PVP where other players spawn in other transporters around the open world. But to even get something like that, would require the world to be more opened out and not just be the refuge. There's clear passion in this game already from the devs. Flagging the game because "No PVP" is not only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid (as PVP is not the focus and was what hurt OG Hawken in the first place, I'll reiterate once more.), But for this game to succeed people need to put their big boy pants on and swallow their pride and breathe. I want to see where this goes. Not to have idiots scare off the devs in a just week after launch.

No PVP is bad, but the game is a Destiny/Warframe clone which is worse
Maybe some people would like flying numbers and bad animations/PC support and console balance. I don't.

After playing it, I realized that even if these devs announced PVP tomorrow it would be god awful and not even close to the punchiness and balance of the original. This is so bad, so sour, it would take years to be good. Not out of resources, no engine limitations, just short sighted and ugly development direction from the very beginning. It is at core, everything I dislike from F2P games.

My disgust is great, my hype is gone and my day is ruined. I missed Hawken so much, this is a chinese asset flip why did I ever got my hopes up

Devs invited this upon themselves by releasing EA in this state. If they don't have the psychological fortitude to weather this storm and push on with their vision regardless, then this project's doomed anyways. I'd like to see this title succeed, but I'm not going to sugar-coat the current state of things either. We're starting this journey in rough seas, and it's a long ways to safer waters.

How's this for a reason; the most basic mouse sensitivity options are completely non functional, making the game 100% unplayable.

Should an FPS that is unplayable with mouse and keyboard ON PC be rated anything other than overwhelmingly negative?

Frankly I'd be perfectly fine with PVE if it were co-op. I might even forgive SOME of the microtransactions. But a singleplayer game riddled with microtransactions isn't something anyone should defend. It's a cash grab, and it's thoroughly disrespectful to the original devs.

No pvp, no coop, and even worse, patrol mode has infinite loading and doesn't work, i bet the shop works perfectly on the other hand, gaming is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dead.

Perfectly happy with this remake, I've found plenty of PvP games since it came out and if you really loved the OG you could have still been playing with the private fan reconstruction like I was

I won't dispute the PVP argument. Whether you love the game or hate it, everyone wants PVP. But I get it, PVP isn't something you can just randomly throw in as an afterthought. It's practically a whole new game and it opens any title like this up to scope creep which could kill development entirely.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out the game needs improvement at the early stage. But there's criticism and then there's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on it for no reason. Ffs, you can skip the title sequence intro, you're obviously going to be able to skip cutscenes when its developed more. But the angry mech nerds are stomping in here like "I CAN'T SKIP THE INTRO, 0/10!!!!!"

If Dark Souls had mouse sensitivity issues you'd all be like "ITS PERFECT, GIT GUD SCRUB"
