Hacking Laptop - How to choose which panel is being hacked
I finally got the laptop I've been looking forward to, but I'm having an issue with it in the first house I'm trying it out on. I'm at 205 to steal the Vulcan and all of his many other expensive belongings, but I was locked in by the shutters as soon as I was about leave to transfer stuff to my van. The issue is:

The camera panel and the security shutter panel are right next to each other. I have activated the laptop and completed the hacking minigame probably 8 times now; and while the cameras are deactivated, the shutters are still closed. What am I doing wrong here?

Here's the panels:

no this laptop is not for that. actually i dont even understand the way laptop works. you need to do it without laptop. after that there is another key right on the wall for you to open the gate to go out with the car.

A little late, but...

Yes that laptop CAN be used for that, although no real advantage in this case. The laptop allows you to remotely hack a security system, so you don't need to be in front of it (allows access to shutters from outside, etc). It will only hack the closest panel, so you'd need to be closer to the shutters panel, otherwise you'll keep hacking the cameras.

I figured that could be it. Being able to manually select which system to hack would help in this kind of situation. Especially if one is outside and unaware that the panels are right next to each other.
