Car Key Signal Cloner

how the hell do I use it? im stuck on the vulcan stealing objective because I can't figure out how to use it!

Edit: nvm turns out you need to first get close to the guy.

I got it by standing out by the gate he walks out of when he was leaving. You have to left click at the right time (when he's almost out, flashing green lights), not middle mouse which is what I had a horrible time figuring out. If you get it, the thing clicks and makes a noise.

You think this one sucks, there's one other key that needs cloning to steal a car that is a LOT worse than this one...

I got into his house while he was sleeping and used the cloner from the kitchen that's right above his bed, on the second floor. Same for the other car, you can use it from the balcony room, through the wall, while she's sleeping.

This tutorial should be improved (at least in german). Except for vinnys message after you buy it, you're never told that you have to get close to the original key first.

I can't figure this out, how do I equip the key cloner? I have gotten so close to the guy that he catches me without any sort of prompt or activation of the cloner.

Open your inventory and put your car key signal cloner to quick slot area. Then hold "Q" in game and select it.

Has anyone experienced bug where the key signal cloner doesn't appear on your weapon wheel?

Currently struggling with this, although it is in my inventory I can't actually use it, very frustrating I don't want to restart the whole game just because of this.

You have to manually put it on your quick slot.

Or do it manually from your inventory.

The Cloaking Device makes the cloning much easier. Walk right thru cams and past guards at night easily. I even open drawers right in front of occupants.
