you can buy it, only finish a few oontracts first, then keep selling farm items to gain reputation... I had to get 100/100 reputation b4 I could buy it! even though at first I was told required 8/100 reputation, (I had that) then I sold more items I stole from 403, then was told requires 62/100 reputation...(again I had that) so I kept going back stealing and selling more stuff til I had 100/100 then I could buy it!

Makes no sense at all to me. After completing my first mission, my HUD tells me I must be level fourteen to access my own computer. This is gawdamned frikkin' stupid.

Actually I've found that some of the more advanced tools are totally unnecessary, other than to save some time...almost anywhere youse wants to go, you can get in there with some planning and ingenuity (timing being a critical factor!) but using a glass cutter leaves evidence that if a tenant just walks by that window, chances are very high He'll spot yer handywork and call the coppers! It's the same with the hacking tools, yer PDA, laptops, what have you! Best leave'em at home, cuz they unlock doors just FINE, but an unlocked door is screaming that there is a burglar on the premises, an' I just ain't smart or educated enough to lock those doors behind me! use traditional lockpicks when you can, an' if'n you can't, best find another way! And don't forget, Never leave an unlocked door behind you!

Dude, thanks for the tips. Game is primitive, but the ideas behind it are sound. I should know. By the time I was fifteen, I had committed over thirty burglaries. I got pinched for only ONE. Can you imagine Christmas Eve at your house when the US Army Intelligence Criminal Investigation Division knocks on your door? General Omar Bradley couldn't save my skinny butt, and my dad KNEW him!
