Is it worth playing in 2021?

Hello,
I have bought this game back at launch and it was fun for first ~5 hours from what I remember and then I noticed how repetitive it is and how stupid some of the situations are, especially knowing that it is called a simulator.

Basically had it received any content updates, quallity of life updates? Have it been expanded? Does it just play better in overal? I just hate how repetitive and "not logic" it used to be after launch. Breaking into the same house twice a day for a week would lead nowhere, people wouldn't change locks, install cameras, police wouldn't increase patrols and etc in the area.

They aren’t updating the game anymore because of their new game they are developing. However, the game has had many updates since release such as a longer story, a new van, a new neighbourhood, a few new tools, many more houses, more loot, junkyard, hideout and a lot more things I have not listed.

I would say it is well worth playing again if you are interested.

Just got this game about two weeks ago, seems pretty dope so far. I agree with you about the AI logic (i.e., breaking in multiple times a day without any repercussions, stuff like that), but hey, that's video game logic for you I guess. I've just started on the second suburb; it's much harder than the first suburb was. I'm not sure if you've made it that far, but in my opinion, it ups the challenge quite a bit.

I got this game in 2020. I think it is fun. It isn't perfect, but it's pretty fun.

I only wish they had a different ending where The Thief doesn't get blown up by a mail bomb. It didn't make any sense. The Thief did some pretty tough jobs for them and he could be a good asset to use later. It isn't implied that he was troublesome in any way or would snitch. I know gangsters are gangsters, but this wouldn't make any sense.
