I would like to hve more time to do things while people are out etc; it feels like the time dialation is a little high at times, it would be nice if it was a little lower but maybe make people wander around a little more.

I would love to see some kind of allertness system in the game, it feels a little odd that people will call the police on me becuse I unlocked the front gate and then stood off to one side minding my own business (maybe you forgot to lock it yourself!), but I can strip a home bare and leave drwers and cupbords wide open to no rection unless they spot me directly.
If I stand outside someones window staring in at them for ages like a horror-movie serial killer it should make them more jumpy while if I wander around like the other people in the neighbourhood it wouldnt batter an eyelid.

Also why ARE all the garden gates locked and people so quick to declair I'm tresspssing, are visitors and mailmen illegal in this dimension? =P
Here is my two cents:
1) The addition of "jumping". Having to lock pick a fence door with the police coming, as opposed to jumping over said waist high fence, is a little strange. Not being able to jump over a fence with a Large TV, however, makes sense. There has to be a middle ground somewhere.
2) Perhaps adding upgradable storage space in your car as well, so a player could hold a large amount of goods(ie hit multiple homes on a night run) instead of maxing out after one and having to go empty or sell before coming back. On that same topic, perhaps upgrading space for multiple large carry objects as well. Once again, as an upgrade, instead of in the beginning of the game.

Im sure there will be other ideas as gameplay continues.

Bored, is it combat, if you simply knock out a pesky civilian, so he doesn't call cops on you? I'd like some "freeroam" in house, even if it's limited in time...
that's violent at least so the game will lose uniqueness if they implement it

I suggested the ability to knock out the residents and possibly attempt to knock out the cops but I also suggested a penelty for taking the violent route in that you could possibly kill the person resulting in automatic capture.
hey, first thx for a awesome game, this is what Payday 2 cant given, i like the Coop Aspect and maybe add this too your game but pls no Weapons or insane cops

a list of ideas

1. "Wanted"
when you will add more Neighboorhoods, i think its a cool idea that a player can be "Wanted" in a Neighborhood, so when you walk you can be easy recognized as Criminal or so, then when you failed a Robbery Polices Should Patrol in the Neighborhood, i know this will make the game Harder but the players need the chance to steal or Destroy Evidence in a Police Station.
1a. its a little bit frustated that police can easily catch a Player because we are in the red ring of lose

2.more Neighborhoods because one is not enough, how about a inner city with penthouse, shops and so or a Industrial Section, where more People, Police are around and more stuff to steal,

3. more Equipment or we can Lose Equipment because we are caught by the Police
(explosives for safes maybe)

4. new Cars for Players, it will be cool when we can buy Cars like Vans or so, so we can steal more Big Stuff and they will be slower than Smaller Cars, the cars can be searched by the police, but we can change Colors and Plates from our car so the police didnt recognized them.(cost something of course)

5.bigger Skilltree & Co-op
i like RPG elements but i like them more with Coop,
so the skill tree needs Sections like, Electronic, Hacking, Lockpicking etc, so when we work in a team every player can little bit Specialised in a Skilltree Section, Skilltrees allows more fails and we are faster in the thing we do, so we can use equipment with higher Skills Requirments

6. Hire NPCs(singleplayer variant of the Co-op)
as a Lone wolf without friends so you can hire NPCs for money of course, players can say what they need to do in a job, liek Hacking ,Lockpicking or just take big stuff to the Van(i know the problem about good AI for companions, maybe just try it)

7.New Homes
new homes to store more stuff what we steal, a place for hire NPCs so they can rest or a Operation base for Co-op, bigger House means we can hire More People for bigger jobs, (max 4. Players or 3 NPCs), Training ground in the Basement for Tutorials

8. bigger heist like Banks, Museum or Gallerys maybe

9. Security Guards
NPCs who watchout for Criminals, comes in different times of the day and only for Shops or Rich Peoples (they will be more Guards in Wanted Sections)

10. Informants
i like that you can buy Info for Houses but its seems so meh, a Informant LVL system when you work for him he will get higher lvl and can get more Info about House or Persons, in Jobs with a Harder Difficulty you will need this guy, the Jobs about put Bugs in the House or place the Micro Cam, etc.

11. more Traders
we need Trades they know what we try to sell them and gives us different prices for different items, better Trades will be unlocked by Missions or LVL, Jewelry, Car Trader etc

so thats is enough let the ideas sink, and i will write others when i have them.

thanks for noticing this post and sry for my englisch :)
have a nice day!

Welp, look at all those people putting realism over gameplay. Please don't add multiple traders, please don't try to add a multiplayer mode to a singleplayer game, please don't add huge bank heists, please don't add weapons. Instead, focus on making the game less tedious and more fun and balanced.

1. When I set off an alarm in a house, let the cop run right towards me, alright. But when I leave a house, sleep in my car to prepare for the next house and hours later the inhabitant notices the theft, how can the cops know who's the culprit and on which parking lot he currently sleeps?

2. Car disassembly is annoying. I appreciate the detail, but when I finally stole my second car, my next thought was only "Oh my god, I have to do all of this AGAIN?" At least speed up the process, it's not fun and you don't even need the money to finish the game.

3. Maybe give us at least 1 quicksave slot between the checkpoints. The heists get a bit longer near the end and it's frustrating if you have to repeat everything, including the lockpicking minigames. During the final heist I ran back to my car at least twice just to save my progress.

4. Heavy objects aren't worth the struggle. Maybe give us a bag and a rope or something to at least haul them out of windows, let us open doors while carrying them, don't let passers-by become too suspicous because of them because that only leads to a "walk 3 steps, drop the loot, pick it up again, walk another 3 steps,..." game.

5. Scouting is too overpowered. Mark an inhabitant through a window, sleep for 6 hours, repeat 3 times and congratulations, you got the 24h schedule of all inhabitants. It makes the expensive micro cameras 100% useless. Even when you just want them to scout houses to save time for your next free roam adventure. Which leads me to the point, that annoyed me most:

6. There isn't really any free roam. The story makes you rob every single house, the story tells you exactly when you have to unlock which skill. Sure you can scout houses and try to find something valuable in there, but what for? You'll get sent inside either by the story or by a side quest. You can't explore the skill tree by yourself. You can't explore the game world by yourself, because at the time you finally have the right tool to enter a new house, you'll HAVE to enter it. Only once did I have to grind two level-ups without any side quests, and at this point I could only rob houses I already had to rob.

A feature that would add a lot to the free roam, in my opinion, is a decent GUI that tells you which houses you've already entered, which tools were useful there, what kind of loot you could get there (especially for BlackBay).

Better balancing, especially considering the scouting techniques (maybe let us hack into the surveillance camera live stream, if micro cameras aren't sufficient?) and the balance between mission-bound robberies and additional houses that actually encourage exploration.

An entire new neighbourhood with houses of varying difficulty, from breakable fences to surveillance cameras, as endgame content so you can at least enjoy the game in its whole spectrum again after having unlocked everything.
If this game gets this "DLC" it should be included in the standard game for free. Lets face it, this game is way too short. Fun, additcting but shorter than my.... police record :D

I would deffently like too see some more levels. Or even better a big open world sp/co-op/mp after the tutorial.

Its too easy to get away from the cops if you are not carrying anything big. The end of the map is too close to the houses.

Maby a swat team or police dogs

The abbility to jump. But like when crouching it should be noticed by civilians and guards.

Slight changes in residents daily routines depending on the day of the week
Maybe give us the option to pay someone to disassemble the cars for us to save time. But make the price high and reward the minigame with XP or something to encourage doing it anyway. In the game's current state, it's simply not worth it.

Randomized Rent-A-Thief missions so you actually have something to do in the endgame besides revisiting random houses and stealing random things, even though you can't spend the money on anything.

A NG+ mode, where you start a new game and choose whether you want to retain all the skills and tools or not.

It's because I always like to start a new game overpowered, after finishing it the first time.

Also new side missions on Rent-A-Thug.

-Upgrades to car, more storage ((Big and small items) Perhaps steal new cars to be used for upgraded vehicle))

-more upgrades to chracter (Better stealth, faster movement while stealthed /carrying, better hearing when nearby npc is 'unkown', etc.)

-more things to spend your money on (perhaps some home upgrades)

-and of course more content (new area with different tiers of homes, from easy to very hard, more complex routing through the harder homes to avoid being spotted, burglarize busnisses with more high tech security systems but more cash, etc.)

- this game is great, please keep working on it
1. if we have multiplayer in this game it would be way more fun
2. a bigger map/more houses to rob
3. that you can make people unconscious
4. more stuff to learn

these are just idea's
More explanation on how/why to use jewellery disassembly, also cracking safes (first one took me several tries because I had no idea what I was doing.

(do I get more from the bracelet, because I've taken it to pieces - or will a forum request come for the parts - will the pawn-shop accept women's jewellery from a guy. IRL, they don't, but this guy buys a new TV every night from me).

Therefore, a tutorial tip on the items you buy...

But - maybe it's because I've ignored the story and am just going around doing every house in the 1st town until I'm 100% levelled and kitted out.

I'm also with random police patrols on the streets - I drive the car down a pedestrian area and park it out the back of the house - so long as it's not in a pedestrian path, it's ok.

If I'm a very noisy burglar and just smash and grab and escape the stupid cops every time - I'd expect there to be a higher presence for a while.

If I was very quiet and never was caught once for several days and nights and no-one noticed - I'd expect that there'd be no patrols.

// ability to safelypeek from closets, if police aren't near, to mark residents routines.

Oh - also more than "steal/break TV/toilet (which disappears) or dishes a brick through a window - perhaps some more difficult thug challenges, like "Someone needs to scare the occupants (without hitting them with a crowbar, but more if they scream and call police)" or "They thing they're pretty safe - show them they're not so secure and stealing $xxxx stuff without being caught" or someting like, "We need someone disable the alarm system, so our guys can get in and smash their secret stash of toasters/all their windows" - maybe slashing car tires, idk.

Would be nice to see a wider variety of jobs, and mix them up between noisy and quiet - if I'm caught disabling that alarm, then they'll reset it - if I disable it before they go out - they're re-enable it - so to finish the job, I also need to know the tennant routines.

// even if they do leave open the door if it's unlocked and they go out / come in and don't notice a burglary unless it's the gate that's open.

This way - I couldn't just go around and complete all the "noisy" police calling jobs at the same time as the "stealth/security" thug jobs.

Also - people ring my doorbell at night and I don't immediately call the police. That's a lousy game feature. Maybe things are different in the US.

Thinking of the US - all these residents must be hippy liberals, because none of them have a firearm in the house.

Idk anyone in the US that doesn't own a gun - even an 80 year old woman I know carries. Wait - the only person I know in the US that doesn't own a gun is a liberal couple and they sleep in separate bedrooms and have enough money so she doesn't have to go to work and can paint all day instead. Idk what he does. Tells me never to get married. That's what she says, too.

// I wouldn't like this game to be multiplayer - it would ruin it.

// But it would be nice to choose a character, because there are other colours of skin than "bald white dude". And I'd like him to have a better beard and also wear a beanie and have a few tattoos.

// If the character had a name - perhaps I'd be more invested in the story, but that means recording it in all the phone-calls. As it is - idgaf about the story.

A couple of ideas if they haven't been mentioned already...

1. Have residents run to a phone to call the police.
2. Have it so that the police have to be standing next to you to arrest you.
3. Be able to knock people out (loud so you couldn't just knock everyone out).
4. Consumable EMP item to disable cameras temporarily.
A lot of the homes don't have phones - and if they do, I steal them (but I don't steal from their pockets).

You've never been arrested by armed police, have you?

I also want to blackjack everyone, like in thief, but then I'd just knock out everyone in the house and rob in 2 seconds.

Cameras can be disabled - or avoided.

In sum:
1. You should be able to stealth-BJ people with the crowbar.

I'm down for a Stealth BJ. :D
