PERFORMANCE FIX
Low framerates? Try this:
-run the game with command: "-window-mode exclusive"
-install the newest drivers (it actually helped before
-make sure you are running the game on the dedicated graphics card and not the motherboard one

So i'm running a 1080 and the game was playing like it was on a potato, tried every setting under the sun but no difference. I'm running an i7 clocked at 4ghz with a 1080 gtx and games are usually buttery smooth.

After hours and hours of tweaking this and that I noticed that my cpu fan was running slow, had a look into windows 10 power option settings and it was set to power saver for some reason?

Changed it back to high performance, and I can say the game is now also buttery smooth.

The command has no effect whatsoever. I still managed to complete the game with the issues however.

1fps is not acceptable ofc, something must be wrong. Are you sure the game uses your dedicated card, are the drivers new?

I'm not sure if 4gb ram is enough.

4GB should be fine for mahjong, but I really doubt abouut anything more demanding than minesweeper.
