Level 2 lockpicking

I don't think I have ever been more triggered by anything. Not even pilot sniping in War Thunder triggers me more than this enraging minigame that you can't skip. Pisses me off to the point I was screaming. Especially when the notch was right in the perfect spot. And it doesn't even give you credit for it. 0/10 for that minigame. Can't progress because of that minigame either.

Hi, the minigame shouldn't be a problem. Are you sure you are pressing the lock button (left mouse) when the animation is right and is in the bottom of the pin? Maybe the framerate is low. Hard to say what seems to be the problem, did you check some gameplay videos of other people doing the lokc minigame? Also the training lock in the garage should be a good way to learn that minigame.

Yes, it's very easy. The first time I failed too but you only have to press down, look and press mouse button when the bolt reaches the bottom. No stress, just a little timing. AND beware of people seeing you. If you are told to do something illegal, STOP the action.

I have the same issue, did you ever get it to fix? Sometimes it locks and sometimes it doesn't even if I click at the exact same time on both. Really ruins the game

I have the same issue, 60FPS, sometimes it locks and sometimes it doesn't even when I click when the pins are in the same place. It's really destroying the fun of the game for me, especially because I can't progress. Is there any fix? If not is there any way I can disable this minigame?

Edit: I have watched videos of people doing. Still can't get it to work in my own game.

What about the tutorial lock in the house, did you press the right button at the moment the "press [button name] shows up?

I had a situation where it took an entire minute to pick one part of the lock because it refused to touch the bottom.

Yes, I've tried using that lock for over 15 minutes. It seems very random. I'll hit the correct button at the time that it says to. It very rarely works (1 in 200 tries maybe) despite hitting the button at the same time.

It's hitting the bottom, it just won't lock correctly. Thanks for the advice though!

I had a few odd ones that seemed like they didnt want to work like past ones did. I just alt out and alt back into lock mini game deal and seems to help .Had some that bounce down first hit on all of em and some Im playing basketball thats when I get out of lock pick screen then back into. I also feel once inside a place i shouldnt have to picklock the door to get out . Wonder also if the keyboard key stroke you pick effects at all (activate when pushed down or after push)

I might be misunderstanding you, but I have gone in and out of the lock picking mini-game many times. Is that what you are referring to?

yes just start again sometimes i get that with the hack part on puters and phones restart the mini game persay and path is diffrent so think locks change also have fun

I'm having the same problem. No matter what I do, when dealing with the level 2 practice lock in the house, I can't seem to get the pin locked down at the bottom. I'm not sure if I should be holding left-click, or simply click it, but I've tried both when prompted and neither work for me.

I tried every fps and quality setting and the lock wont lock when tumbler goes to the bottom so it's always a second late. The only way to do it is if you've an expensive computer or predict when the tumbler will go to the bottom. There should've been more space to be able to lock on the tumbler. This wasn't designed well.

If so I cant get it. I tried and tried

My only fix for it was uninstalling the game and never going back to it again. Wasn't worth my time to try and fix a game with low FPS.
