Serious Bug: First Mission (house 109), took TV, but still says it's not completed, can't end mission

Hey, so I just did -- or am trying -- to do the first mission, house 109. I did everything -- broke the damaged fence, took the spare door key, and took the TV and put it in my trunk. The game still says the part of the mission where I still the TV hasn't been completed, so I can't drive home. Anybody know what the problem is? I just bought this game and love the idea, but, if it's this buggy, I won't be able to keep it. Am I doing something wrong? Like I said, I took the TV and put it in my trunk. I completed every objective, but the game seems to think the TV objective hasn't been completed. I even went back into the house, and it's not like the TV respawned. It's in my car's trunk.

The yellow diamond is still over the house, as are the blue diamonds that indicate the objectives (like the one near the fence). Also, when i go to the menu, it says the mission is incompleted, and lists stealing the TV as the part of the mission that hasn't been done yet.

Just return home with the tv. The marker only shows the starting location of the tv.

Thanks, for the response. I was looking at the minimap. How do I know where home is? I drive there? Or is there something in the menu I press?

Ah, you should definitely let players know that. If it is said somewhere, I didn't see it, and I did a lot of frustrating searcing trying to figure out what was wrong (including repeatedly taking the TV back inside, putting it down, picking it up again, and bringing it back to the car). Otherwise, I've found the tutorials very easy to understand so far.

BTW, I saw you say in another thread that controller support would be coming soon. Do you have a timetable on that?

If you stupid, i am also stupid. the tutorial is not clear. I lootet the tv and it should say "now go home".

LOL I can't believe this thread has come back from the dead 4.5 years later. And that the developer never fixed this issue, despite seeing the thread. I've recently started playing the game and most of the mechanics are pretty easy to understand apart from having to drive home being to drive out of the map bounds. I haven't struggled with anything really and I have just over 6 hours ATM.
