Any way to mark targets?

Mouse 3 doesn't work for me nor does binding it to anything else.

It's a bit tricky to figure out. You need to hover your cursor directly over your target. You'll notice that the cursor changes when it's possible to mark your target. You need to be pretty close to the person you want to mark. Plus you need to have a clear and straight view. Hiding behind something (e. g. a railing) may prevent you from being able to mark your target. I, personally, changed to binding to the "-" key on my keyboard and it works perfectly fine.

as a quick addon capuziss comment, the cursor will change to a green diamond when you are over a valid mark target, you can also target some vines/control panels to unlock hints for those residences the same way

Thank you both but the problem isn't the act of marking,
rather the mark bind doesn't work no matter what I bind it to.

I can be right in their faces and it still doesn't let me mark them.

You can't mark everything or every people. Only those who are living in the houses and security cameras which are placed around the houses.

Have you watched a video where you can see how it should work? Maybe (just a thought) you're doing something basically wrong?

Same problem. Works fine with binoculars, but in the absolute first mission (tutorial, it literally tells you to do this and no binocs available) it just doesn't work even when you're standing a few inches away from the tenants...

Maybe you havent learned it in the skills tab I didnt and I have just realised how dumb am I
