To my knowledge there is no magical cheat code but cash can be readily gained through all of the above. For those not trying to finish within a competitive time you can also fast forward time a ways while making a lot of expensive items, then send the scouts to find merchants.
Edit: Also use diplomacy points to bring in merchants.
A lot will depend on what era you are in. The early eras are aimed at understanding combat and trying a few different builds without any major impact to the long game.
Eras 4-6 are focused on managing doom points, getting money and gearing up to face the end game.
Eras 7+ you should have no issue with finances and instead be focusing your time in obtaining top grade loot.
Thanks and i hope to read Tormunda's opinion about this matter.
I did put in an anti-cheat code into the save system in the beta for update 2.
However, after thoughts on this I am happy to remove this code as I am all for people playing the game in the way they wish to play it. I will remove this code in the next update.
