PCM 2018 vs PCM 2023

Hello ladies and gents,

I only play Career mode and usually I make my own team incl. maillot and accessoires and sometimes even custom cyclists.
Back in 2018 you had a decent training system, scouting was a bit 'meh'. Brakeaways weren't always succesfull either.

With those things in mind.. Is is worthwhile to get the new PCM 2023? The costs don't mean that much to me as long as there have been improvements. If it's still the same old systems and gameplay mechanics; is there a version you recommend when it comes to gameplay? Maybe 21 or 22?

I'm looking for an older version since I'm struggling with the planner and those damn objectives (I'm hoping it was a bit easier)..lol^^ I own PCM 20,21 and 22 and from what I can gather I ask you now one thing: what do you think why it's called "REcycling manager"? ;)

I do not recommend buying pcm21. I bought it and it played so badly that I returned to pcm18, even until this day I enjoy PCM18 more (you can check my stats for that). I checked for pcm22, but a lot of reviews where talking how it feels still the same as pcm21, so I decided to skip pcm22. This year, I checked for PCM23 and people were complaining how it's so similar to PCM22, so it's just a never ending recycling of the same game. They should better start creating a DLC every year, because that is what every new version is: a DLC of the base game that started in (I think) PCM2016.

Sounds like I should try PCM18; I wanted to get 2014 but it asked me for an activation key?!

That's old school, the key is either somewhere saved in a file or written on the envelop the dvd was in.

Hm.... I don't have box, wanted to buy it on steam so that caught me weirdly. Idk where I could get that key from. :/

Thank you dude. Maybe I'm retarded but I didn't get it solved though. I tried it a couple times but each time I started pcm it still asked me for the key again. Dunno what I did do wrong.
