Climb Profile Windows Must Be Preserved in PCM 2019
Of the great many perfections found in Pro Cycling Manager, I have liked none better than the Climb Profile Windows. Yet these seem to be disappearing in PCM 2018.

Now, more than ever, we have even the most important races lacking any climb information at all.

I submit to you game players and PCM creators, that ALTITUDE, INCLINE, and LENGTH of climbs are indeed the DEFINITION OF THE CHARACTER of climbs. Even without the windows showing in the upper right the profile of a climb, surely we still need to know altitude, or how else can we tell a climb is 800 meters or 2000 meters. Knowing this projects to us the challenge we face at the foot of the climb. We shouldn't have to wait to gain the summit so that we can look down and try to guess the altitude. The rider needs to know the difficulty he faces in ANTICIPATION of the climb. All three indicators together stimulate the PCM players' ability to put ourselves in these conditions during game-play.

When the first riders arrive, with the Climb Profile Windows, we can see the climb in all its details, know by the color coding the full measure of the slopes, and can even count the Kilometers progressed from the bottom of the hill and know exactly where we are on the hill and where we prefer to attack, or expect attacks from others. We can anticipate the false flats where we might catch our breaths.

Please, good people who love PCM, speak up here. Don't allow the great makers to abandon these indicators that get our blood up for a climb, and maybe instill in us a little fear on a rainy day. Restore ALTITUDE, INCLINE, AND LENGTH of climb in PCM 2019, which we look forward to every June.

Although you can check the climb profile and, even better, where you are in that climb, by clicking the stage profile on the bottom right of the screen, it is a neat thing to have.

However, I would prefer to have those showing the climb in which the rider you have selected is instead of the rider in the lead. The same thing goes for cobbled sections. Sometimes the escapees are already going through a 2 star section and the peloton is at the same time in a 4 star section. I would like to know the difficulty all riders are going through, not just the front men.
