Do you have some sort of roadmap set up or are you still finding your feet?
Idea, was mostly to be able to create a somewhat easy way for users / players, to create maps of their "home" area for example, without spending months on modeling it.
Well, the roadmap is somewhat in my head, but it exists.
Currently still working on grass root level details, as well as fixing some errors that were left behind, due to other duties.
Building on Windows, will also have to have some attention, as all of us involved so far, are actually using Linux.
Feel free to chime in on Discord, and i can happily share the roadmap with you, also feel free to post requests, or why not even contribute your own ideas if you want : )
Its alot harder, for a single / couple persons to try to shape something that should fit many peoples visions : )
Ah Bob. I do believe that is what was written early on in this post. If you don't understand it, perhaps it would be better to sit back and watch and see if you can contribute anything other than negative opinions. With that said...
@frimurarn - I had suggested to the Devs over at Brainbytes that opening up the code might allow us to continue development on our own, but never received a response. I prefer "community-based" games anyway, because they encourage everyone to have a stake in the project. I will go over and star, follow and track at github and take it for a spin.
I am a FS fanboy, but would love to see something that was a little more open and easier to work with and I don't think I'm alone. Not looking to replace one with the other, but always looking for something fun and different. If I can help and/or get others involved, I will put the word out with the modders that I know and have them take a look as well. Best of luck and I hope that I can be useful going forward! Good day everyone!
Open-Crops, has never yet stated to be a game, or a farming simulator.
Rather a the very early bare minimum, for a terrain, that could end up being a heavy-machinery / farming enviroment in the future, where everyone is free, to experiment with what is of their interest.
Be it excavating ground, or farming crops.
It is still lacking a lot of the basics even in Ui, and has alot of issues and flaws. But it is open, free, and there for anyone to take, or contribute to.
