I am a bit confused, if the game has been abandoned why is it still getting updates and who would be updating it if the developers abandoned it

I think it is dead in water now. But their is still 1 person that works on it or at least use to but only does it in spare time. So it is pretty much a dead game now as it has not had an update in 2 years or 3 years. They blew thru the funding they had and was unable to get more so they had to stop development.

You are pretty wrong in many ways.

If you can't afford a possible loss, just don't invest in anything. Every sane person knows exactly about the so called "investment risk" when spending money on such projects. Only if it's bad for _you_, or if you just don't understand the idea of early access, that doesn't mean it's bad in general.

I bought games on their final stage, they were absolute garbage and i just uninstalled them right away. Following your logic we shouldn't buy _any_ game then, no matter if it's early access or not, i "lost" money in both cases.

And yet i can still have fun with CnC...

I bought some games at Early Access which is pretty good managed, working on etc. Like Derail Valley, which is one of my most favorite game.

if still selling it as finished product "no early access" u can aswell continue working on it as u making money to continue

this was the best farming sim besides dynasty to me its a shame that this gets abandoned while these lazy giants of FS22 get prized as the best because the mods the players use
