Other games of "EasyGameStation"
Hey. Does anyone know if any other of their games are localized? I saw their web-page, there's quite a lot of stuff on there, but all in japanese.
EasyGameStation are the guys who made Recettear.

Sadly, they got just 2 games translated to english. The guys who are translating their games (Carpe Fulgur) are working on 2 games more:
(1) Okkotos [egs.cug.net]
(2) Territoire [egs.cug.net]
Both from Easy Game Station.
But that will take a while, probably you will lose interest before they release them on english.

Greetings.

Recettear and Chantelise are the only two of EGS's library that have been localized so far. Since they've been working very closely with Carpe Fulgur, it is safe to presume Terriroire will be picked up whenever it is finished- it's starting to reach Freudenstachel levels of infinite delays and progress stalls. Though the reasons are different, EGS has stated they are really aiming for a commercial quality release with Territoire.

Chantelise was their first original doujin game, Recettear was second. Everything before it were parody doujinshi- Ele Paper Action was a Read or Die themed side scrolling beat em up; AzuBeach was Azumanga Diaoh themed, Dash de LeiLei was Darkstalkers based, Duo Princess was based on Threads of Fate, and Gunner's Heart was based on the obscure shooter Sky Gunner. Being parody doujin productions, none of those can be localized officially without a lot of licensing problems- they only exist because there's an implicit understanding these things legally can't go into commercial release and essentially stay in Comiket.

The third original game though was Tokyuu Tenshi, a very goofy racing game framed as a package delivery runner. Okkotos is now technically their 4th in place of Territoire- and according to Carpe Fulgur, was made primarily as a breather from working on Territoire and to remind them of what it felt like to actually release a game. It came out back in February.
The most likely EGS game to come out next in localized form is Okkotos.

EGS isn't even done working on Territoire yet.

So... Territoire is heading to Development Hellville?

Let's hope it doesn't become yet another Duke Nukem Fornever (or since we're into Japanese stuff, Tsukihime 2...)

Looks like it's still in development hell?

Anyhow at least I found the egs pages again...now I can see the glorious "Fiore=Footbass" screen again!

Also Midi=Mottoosu, but that isn't as funny.
