Also, how do you get more expensive items to be available. Im now in week three and the next payment is 80,000 yet no expensiver items are available and the only things that might work is rings, but no one EVER wants to buy rings at all.
Dungeons have a different layout every time you enter them, but the same kinds of creatures are inside. Bosses (floor 5, 10 etc.) are always the same. As Dark Wlanut said, in the Jade Way dungeon (the second dungeon after the first tutorial one), King Slime on the 5th floor drops the slime liver, the rat boss on floor 10 drops the lizard and the bat wing is dropped by the flying one-eyed bats that shoot ring projectiles. The charred lizard is also dropped by "gnolls" which are the guys that throw stones at you, but it's much faster to kill the rat boss untill he drops it.
To get better items, you have to increase your merchant level by selling and buying items. Remember that you can "combo" sales to get a huge experience bonus (to "combo" you have to make consecutive successful sales without the customer haggling even once) and you get bonus experience for guessing what price the customer expects (usually about 105%). Getting the "just" and "near pin" bonuses (for correctly guessing what price the customer expected) also increases your reputation with them, which makes their budget bigger (so they can buy more expensive items).
And you can safely ignore Caillou. The required items can be hard to find and too much dungeon-crawling isn't very profitable either.
Rings are often bought by women, but the reason why they might not buy your rings can be that their rep level isn't high enough yet or try putting your ring on the window table.
If you that desperate, make save point before going boss rush, and load that save every time the first boss didn't drop slimy liver.
Btw if you fail to honor his first time request, next time he will ask you to stock bat wing, charred lizard and slimy liver at all once. And he will continue pestering you everyday until you have all three in stock.
i know this is old post but i knew if i looked hard enough i find this thread.
i had a atmosphere of gaudy and dark and only euria and prime showed up almost all the time.
Anyway you can try savescumming on the slime king.
Sometimes you'll get the same RNG seed but sometimes you'll get a different one.
However, if Cailou has already visited you and you didn't have the ingredients, then you've already missed the bigger pix reward anyway. He's not a useful early game dungeon character either and only really begins to shine much later in the game.
So if it's only about getting that quest done, you might as well just continue playing until you unlock some higher tier gear and then farm him by doing 10-second boss runs and reloading the moment the Liver doesn't drop.
