Carpe Fulgur are an awful company, run by a bunch of SA goons who openly hate the material they work with. They also advocate using their position of power over English-only consumers to force their ideology into games and censoring things in them because they don't like them.

I looked at this one because I enjoyed the Harvest Moon games and this looked along the same vein.. Do you think I might still enjoy the gameplay without being able to play an 'uncensored' version as it were.
Also have no idea what Ar Tonelico is, and the bit following, but I get your point about changing things in source material rather than just translating them being ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I honestly don't particularly care about them adding towels or whatever (although I think its unnecessary), but censorship pisses me off because it really just boils down to someone deciding what they think is or isn't ok for other people.

I had just heard they were working on the second Trails game last night and now after reading this I'm slightly concerned.

I'd be very interested to know what exactly could have been so offensive to buzzkill an entire project for someone. I have a feeling someone is just a little too politically correct.

Well at least Andrew Dice is no longer working on Trails...Hopefully whoever picks up his slack won't change up the content just because its a "buzzkill" for him.
