Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale

Misc Information about Characters
1. Girl

1) She is often considered as the worst customer for Recettear because of low budget and disadvantageous price range.
But considering that she usually comes for errand, maybe the one who really should be hated is her mother, not her.
If you negotiate with adult woman directly, you can earn more pix for sell and spent less for buy as you know.

2) The only town resident who has own voice. Idk why.

2. Man

1) He is main customer of sword and sinister boom, but he sometimes says he buys item because wife made him do it.

2) The only town resident who demands Recette friendship when she calls too high / low price.
Other residents simply try to demand more service, show their anger or cause sympathy.

3. Woman

1) She is main customer of valuable boom, but even when she indulges in luxury, still says she has responsibility of housewife.
Exemplary... or contradictory?

2) Although she is not the best customer, she is almost the only way to sell Bassmaster Pole when she orders fancy thing.
(But because Checkered Wallpaper is more expansive, chance to sell Bassmaster Pole is still very rare.)

4. Old Man

1) Don't be fooled by his attitude, he is the richest among residents but scrooge-like.
He often begs Recette to buy his item acting poor old, but what he usually orders are treasure and rare thing.
And if Recette tries to sell item over 120% (250% when increased) price, he often tries to lower it while Man and Guild Master always accept.

2) He is the most valuable customer among town residents not only because he is rich and treasure lover, but also because he is main customer of holy boom.
Since Heretic Floor (for sinister boom) is cannot be stacked easily, selling a bunch of Checkered Floor is the best way to earn pix in short time.

5. Guild Master

1) The most ridiculous mystery of this game is why he buys weapon and armor from Recettear even he does produce them.

2) He sometimes shows an attitude like elder merchant who teaches Recette. (when refuse order or call too high / low price)

3) Maybe his wife is the most scary person in the town... Wiki guesses GM opens shop until night to avoid her as possible as he can.
Moreover, she even can force news announcer to help her finding husband somehow.

6. Alouette

Actually Alouette's pin point is same as Prime (100~105%), which means she knows base prices of market exactly.
But still she makes Prime buy something from Recettear and usually accepts Recette's exaggerated offer.
So some of fans insist she is truly Tsundere for Recette... And it might be true according to the story of Lapis Ruin.

7. Euria

1) Some walkthough say vending machine may protect Recette by making Euria buy something from it.
But when you fill VM with expansive items (above Melon?), she stops using it and always tries to trade for her evil scheme.
So her actual budget is around 10,000 pix, I guess.

2) If you buy something from her, sometimes she is surprised saying how this item would be sold.
(but still not feels guilty, of course)

8. Adventurers

1) If you suggest too low price for items Charme brought, she suddenly gets angry and says somebody deceived her and passed a junk.
This means even she doubts someone, she never thinks that Recette (actually player) is the one who tries to deceive her.

2) Some of what Nagi sells are come from her home, so it seems she is the only adventurer who contact with family frequently.
(Tielle also got mail from her elder sister, but only once or twice in the story)

3) Griff thinks living in human society with money matter is bothering him - the devil, and the third rich customer is critic about Capitalism, ho!

4) Female adventurers seem (or say) they enjoy shopping itself, while there is only one male who apparently likes shopping - Caillou.

9. Recette's father

Recette and Tear said he is awful as an adventurer watching his fight, but this may not be true considering his budget was 820,000 pix and there is no sponsor like Recettear.
Setting 5 proper equipment & stocking recovery items within 820,000 pix to reach 85F of Lapis Ruin all by himself... Is it possible?

re Pin prices: Actually they're determined the same way regardless of customer, according to the wiki.

Well I think the pin price is supposed to represent what the customer thinks the item is actually worth, but they accept Recette's markup as "this is something that normally happens from a business".
