GRID better than Need For Speed?

Need For Speed Payback was an amazing game in my opinion. Most people disagree with me, but NFS games are the only racing games that I can actually bare to finish. Although, GRID is a much smaller scale game. NFS and GRID cannot be compared. GRID is a race to race game, while NFS is an open world driving game with a dramatic storyline. NFS is a bit more arcady, but that's totally fine. If I want simulation I'd go to the new Assetto Corsa Competizione.

Payback wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It's far better than NFS 2015 but Payback is still not nearly as good as NFS games of the past. I'd put Most Wanted, Carbon, and Underground over payback still. My favorite NFS game of all time might be Hot Pursuit 2. I agree GRID and NFS cannot really be compared. Not really the same thing.

There were different games best for their generation. For sure Nfs was best during the UG2 - Carbon gen. At its time, Grid 1 and 2, imo had the best driving, handling, in a racing game i can play. Right now i think ForzaH 3/4 takes the spot for the simcade/action racing game.

The GRID series have been more action packed than the later NFS titles. Codemaster really knows its community so lets hope this one is "one of those" games.

I wouldn't say GRID is a full on simulator but it's for sure not as aracdey as NFS.

Grid and nfs are nothing alike, grid is like a street version of dirt aka 'simcade'

and need for speed has been trash for at least 10 years

The Grid's have been passable but buggy wheel support and NFS has been garbage since Most Wanted '05.

But it's objective fact that Forza/Forza Horizon are better than both. Fite me.

NFS are more "arcade games" than Grids. Grid series are most "racing games" with a small touch of simulation in it, especially with a wheel.

Everything better than NFS. Especially recent "let's make Fast & Furious like plot" games.
