Other games with Racing Line and time rewind?
Hey everyone,
So I've been LOVING this game so far, but the biggest draw to me so far has been the color coded racing line and the rewind time ability. I know, I know, I'm a filthy casual ect.

My question here is: Do other games by this publisher have those features? If so, which ones? I am interested in some of their other racing titles, but really only if I can keep those two things because, honestly, they are GAME CHANGING to me.

Thanks!

F1 has them (racing line and rewind). If you're more of a casual racer, F1 2020 introduced a "casual" mode, but you still have the option to customize your assists if you find casual mode too...easy.

Thanks mate! I think I will pick that up during the sale!

I don't know about other Codemasters games, but Forza Horizon series also have those 2 features and they are pretty good games

Yeah Forza horizon 4 has it, I have been trying to work out how to disable the racing line on it... also Grid Autosport, and Dirt 3 has rewind I can't remember if it has racing lines though.. and non Codemasters ones that I can remember are Need For Speed (The Run, Shift, Shift 2 Unleashed)

Racing line option are basically hints, but isn't there to makes you faster. There's nothing wrong having them on.

How is the physics of F1 2020 (when disabling all assists not on "casual mode") in relation to ACC?

I think it's fine. It's not a full-blown sim like ACC. You'll have a much easier time getting the hang of f1 compared to ACC. But, you'll still have to worry about spinning out, fuel, tyre wear, braking, locking up, etc.

So, little update, I got and tried the new F1 game... but honestly, even in casual, it was just too much for me. I'm probably just bad at "real" racing games. I have, however, just gotten Forza Horizons 4 and am LOVING it!!

Might also try out the need for speed games then :-) Thanks for the replies everyone!

It is all about what you really want.
Just for fun time without much care, stay away of simulators and more hardcore simcades.
Want some fun but some challenge that will demand you to try again and again, then go for simcades.
Want something that will demand you to know at least a bit what you are doing and go with care and precision, then go for simulators.

What can be considered "fun" for someone may not be fun for "everyone" so ... it is all a matter of what you really want and your taste.

I find my fun at arcade, simcade and simulators, different "kind" of fun at each

Playing arcade games I just want speed and some crazy stuff and "moves".

Simcades I want something more serious but still more for the fun and sense of speed.

As for simulators my fun comes with my driving skills development.

That is where I dont know where PC3 would actually fit, PC3 dont seen to have a proper identity on this scale to me, but I would try to check if it was like 5$ like GRID 2019.

In case you want to check something different, a good arcade game that is fun but can also be challenging if you want is Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed.
