Remaster, reboot, remake or sequel?

The Deluxe Edition states it comes with Season 1, 2 and 3, so hopefully we'll get a good few years of extra stuff to play with.

Doesn't look like a remake or a remaster judging from the info available.

As for whether it's a reboot or a sequel, it doesn't really matter. It's a racing game, I don't think there is a difference when it comes to the end product.

I guess GRiD will have the same season model as DiRT Rally 2.0
3 seasons = new content for about 1 year.
since DR 2.0 has multiple new tracks/rallies each season, hopes are high that we get multiple tracks for GRiD each season, too. time will tell.

I hope the team brings back the same kind of music and tempo of the original.. Otherwise it's gonna go flat, terrible. For me at least.
Now that I think of it, the music in the trailer didn't give me much hope.

And yeah, the music was a big part of the original Grid. Specially when started kicking in the right place.

by saying its a reboot,do u mean a reboot of racedriver grid(thats what we are hoping for since 8 years ago) or a reboot of the whole series in general,for me there was ever only one true grid game ,the most fun i ever had,it was almost perfect racedriver grid.to try mixing different styles never really gets either just right.Ccould u clarify pls ty for ur time.

And that for a price of 55 euro.

Existence of Fernando Alonso this time around means that it is not a remake nor remaster.

It is officially "the 4th installment in Grid Franchise". Nothing less, nothing more.

It's not a remaster, otherwise it wouldn't have current generation GT3s in it. It's a reboot. A remaster is when you upgrade the existing game - this is completely new, and they just happen to have some classic cars and tracks in it.
