As for whether it's a reboot or a sequel, it doesn't really matter. It's a racing game, I don't think there is a difference when it comes to the end product.
Just to confirm: yes, this a reboot, and a brand new addition to the GRID franchise. Exciting times...
Full details on yesterday's announcement are here: {LINK REMOVED}http://www.codemasters.com/announcing-grid-coming-september-2019/
I guess GRiD will have the same season model as DiRT Rally 2.0
3 seasons = new content for about 1 year.
since DR 2.0 has multiple new tracks/rallies each season, hopes are high that we get multiple tracks for GRiD each season, too. time will tell.
Now that I think of it, the music in the trailer didn't give me much hope.
And yeah, the music was a big part of the original Grid. Specially when started kicking in the right place.
And that for a price of 55 euro.
Be quiet !!!
It is officially "the 4th installment in Grid Franchise". Nothing less, nothing more.
