Yep, I'm calling that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
First it was the console, now it's the game platforms. They now set the path and all the PC players with their exclusive hardware, which was so impersonated are no longer necessary.
Want that the hardware manufacturer, I'll ask phylosophically Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Asus, MSI, Logitech, Thrustmaster, Fanatec ... and so many ..., do you want that?
You have sold us your products for a high price in recent years but we have let down because there were hardly any exclusive titles for the PC.
Should not you support the developers and motivate them to get the best out of it?
If no, please say it honestly, then I do not need to spend a lot of money in PC hardware, if an Internet connection and gamepad in the future is enough!
Valid arguements. I might actually wait before i buy a new pc if stadia is actually a thing. But sony's approach wasnt really successful either.
You make some good points but personally I'd rather own the hardware I'd like to play my games as internet connections aren't always reliable. I think the Stadia will be a good competitor to consoles and PC and am interested to see how well it does, although I'm happy with my PC and all the peripherals I have for it at the moment.
As much as I like to support the developers, I just think it's unfair to lock out players from game modes and content just because their not on the right platform. Regardless of whether it's marketing or not, to say that the 40 car mode isn't possible on any other hardware apart from Stadia is just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ when there's so many other games that do it easily.
Nice , i sort of like..................good job !
Google Stadia is the next Epic Games Store. Now not only games are exclusive, but also game elements. Sad that developers are selling their souls that easy.
Here obviously a game mode was offered for sale, which is realizable also on the PC without any problems.
What annoys me most about this is not only that it's a blatant lie that a PC can't handle it, but it's a feature everyone was asking for before release. It's effectively multi-class endurance racing, similar to the Le Mans 24h that was in the first game. It's just a sell out excuse to attempt to push the Stadia.
While I'm interested to see how the Stadia does perform, I reckon it is going to be a flop because I honestly can't see who the target market for it is. It's a platform that just makes no sense to me.
Shove it Codemasters!

And as expected, people are not happy about the announcement.
The point is; staying clear of any portal that charges you monthly. A gaming console or PC do not want money every month (there are only a few games requiring that) and there are tons of games which do not even require internet connection to enjoy them.
Some of those very big companies that exist in technology market (i won't give a name) want millions of gamers to be "dependent" on their servers and want them to pay cash monthly. This does not sound like a bad thing at first sight BUT, when you take a gander at its long run practicality and ponder a little bit, it is clear that this system can make gamers as "hidden slaves" for international economy traffic. In theory, they will be called as GAMERS, but management of that system will know what they REALLY are.
Because of these above reasons, i do not have any monthly subscribed thing, not even Netflix. If i really want something, i go and BUY it. ONLY that item; a part of PC hardware, software or a game.
There's a site dedicated to Google's dead projects and Xbox are doing something similar with better features/more games.
No interest in Stadia and this feature isn't that big of a deal, so nothing of value was lost.
I am just curious because I heard you can take it places and play on the go or even on your phone which I would really like.
