is there a region lock?

i remember having this issue back in grid 2 and most dirt games, didnt play dirt rally, im in the middle east so its an issue if i cant pick euro region to play online

There shouldn't be any "region lock" for Codies game. For the online, you can change the location of the download server to one in Europe on Steam setting and it should work.

What do you mean by "Region lock" exactly? I'm in the middle east as well and had no problem with Autosport and other Codies games.

back in grid 2, dirt showdown and 3 i could only connect with others in middle east countries, when i team up with my friend from the UK we get ♥♥♥♥ ton of people, on solo i rarely find any matches at all

I'd like to know as well. All previous Codemasters titles were region locked, so one had to change the Steam download location to UK - London, the region where most players were based.

U sir missed years of multiplayer activity. Just change the download region in steam settings and there u go. None of the games mentioned above were region locked in multiplayer. But looking at things. Grid 2019 will die soon anyway

That is the region lock. Just a minority of players search the forums and find out the way to change the region, the rest are trapped.

There's no region lock, I'm in the USA and been paired with people all over the globe.
