is it possible to use someone elses save files?

i was trying to use a save file from the internet and the missions always start from training, despite choosing the last mission for example. anyone knows whats up?

Try editing "profile.sav" and replacing the occurrence of "CAM_00xx.sav" with the latest save. You may also have to change the profile name at the beginning.

You won't have to do that on my profile, it's already pointing to the latest save. Was talking about the other save you used.

so i just have to change the profile name in profile.sav, and change the cam_00xx to latest number.. which already is. i wonder whats not working
