Stopped opening

I Got the game last week and was playing the Deluxe edition. It was working fine until yesterday when the game decided to opens up the setup menu, Even after I set it up and click apply and ok the same setup screen reappears. It's bizzar as I had been playing it for a few days without incident untill yesterday. any advice?

Right click Hidden & Dangerous: Action Pack in your Steam games list and there should have the options to play or setup, like my one here I can choose H&D, H&D Deluxe, and Fight for Freedom as either play or run setup: https://i.imgur.com/axqEXoA.png

Its a shame, was having the best nostalgia trip on deluxe version. Lets hope somebody sees this!

Had the same problem, went to compatibility troubleshooter by right-clicking game exe in files. Seemed to fix problem

Change resolution (setup)

I just had this issue and jmshro's solution worked.

Right click on game in library -> properties -> browse local files -> bin -> right click 'hde' (for deluxe) -> run as administrator

The game should now run properly once settings have been selected.

This might reset your bindings and options to default though but your save is still there.
