Human nature. I know if they make one still people like you will ask more for something missing.
Survival Mode and Arcade are pretty much the same, bro.
Plus, I think survival is way better for practicing, because it keeps the player aware of how much damage they are intaking during different matches, it helps dealing with the HP Management and Gauge Bar management a bit better than Arcade Mode as well.
Arcade Mode would just make everything plain dumb simple; and if you really care that much about fighting an end-boss by the end of arcade mode, just set your opponent as Tager on Versus Mode.
Set game to lower difficulty level, fight 1-3 matches against various randoml;y selected CPU teams, if you win increase difficulty level by 1 or more grades. Keep repeating process untill you lose or beat highest difficulty CPU.
It is surely not as comfortable as typical Arcade Mode but in practice you just waste 12 to 25 seconds between fights.
I agree that Arcade mode would increased QOL for peoples who like to fight CPU by automatizing things you now need to set manually in order to have "Arcade mode" but I wouldnt say it is high priority.
Real tragedy were happening in SF5 with no story mode and no way to fight CPU outside of survival.
Aha fans of BBTAG are weird bunch because I see 5 times more posts a'la "Let us play all songs availiable in lobbies during matches" than complains on missing arcade mode.
I dont know man, We all play fighting games so I'm definitely sure we all know what Arcade mode is and what is Survival and what are their differences, they're never the same..
Understand this, Survival Mode is way much better than Arcade Mode. Mainly because it helps more often with skills progress than Arcade Does.
Well, there is a Main Problem with SFV Survival Mode it is that that it rewards people with enough points to buy every single DLC Characters from release date to this point; capcom in order to protect their interest, made a stupid IA that would simply cheat and steal in the later matches in order to keep players(aka.: you) from winning those beautiful stupid in-game currency that would allow you to buy every single stage/soudtrack/colors/dlc characters.
BBTAG doesn't share from neither this problem nor any of the other SFV Problems. And that's the only reason people complain about Survival Mode in SFV, nothing else.
See hahaha, as expected from a b###hurt fanatic - the supposed "discussion" gets twisted to another topic. Dude if you know nothing about their development just s-up instead of being toxic to those asking for arcade.. Just let the devs speak for themselves.
I think the game is very fun, but I dont play story mode all that much and I dont like multiplayer. I'm not super hardcore into competitive fighting games, I just like blasting through arcade with different characters, eventually turning up difficulty when I get better at whatever game. Ripping out a feature that's been included In BB for a long time and just not bothering isnt something that should be defended. Seriously, how much effort would it take to put a mode in the game that takes the single match vs mode and strings together 8 fights? no cutscenes, no nothing extra. SFV got blasted for not having arcade, and it was better off for it. Fandoms ravenously defending bad design choices is never a good move. I could understand if it was some insane, niche, absurd criticism... but really? No arcade...? In a fighting game?? The game is very low effort, and worse off for it. Not even possible to go past 1920 x 1080 without using a 3rd party mod in 2019 is just pathetic. This game has one of the best rosters I've seen in a modern fighting game, and its sad that its missing such basic features like arcade mode or a character select screen that actually shows all the characters. Games only improve when the fanbase offers constructive criticism. If you just lower your standards and shout at people who have valid criticisms the game is worse off for it.
