Can't play the game. Crashes after 20 seconds.

Question. When I now try to play in BBTAG, it automatically shuts down without my input, and it's always about 20 seconds after I gain control of the game. Is there anything I can do to fix this occurrence?

Here are my device specs.

Update: After further investigation, it appears that my computer doesn't recognize BBTAG as a downloaded file.

"An error occurred while updating BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle (missing executable):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BBTAG\BBTAG.exe"

I then navigated to my BlazBlue file as per the directions in the error message and found that the icon for BBTAG was missing from the folder entirely. Just to confirm what was happening, I checked my files for Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift, and both folders had their respective icons for their own games.

I do not know how, but it seems that the icon file for BBTAG has been deleted. I'm not certain what to do about this.

Further Update: Turns out it was merely quarantined by my anti-virus software. I'm going to test just to make sure, but I think my issue has been resolved.

Even Further Update: Nope. It still crashes every 20 seconds. On the plus side, I did manage to fix something; the game is now running at its intended speed.

So if you do maybe that is what is crashing it , check out the improvement mod post .
Think people had similar issue with the game

I'll certainly try, but the problem is that this issue started even before I installed the mod.

oh well im not sure there was a crashing problem with the intro but I think the recent update fix that but not sure. check out the pin posts

In my case, I just simply made my anti-virus software trust BBTAG.

I've been having the same problem non-stop it's driving me insane!
