Combo Help
I really am enjoying the game since I am a casual player and this game is easy to get into. However I seemingly can't do some combos for the life of me. I had no trouble until in Tactics Mode trying to do Ragna's combo 4. After doing Kick Up I can't transition to the Jump A. Advice would be welcomed

dude it basically just repetition and input speed, Like I had problem with one of Es combo guide in tactic mode, where I had to catch and do a jump cancel, I had to practice for a while to learn the timing . that basically the advice watch the timing in the example video .

However ive noticed its a biiiit harder in this game. At least when linking in from Ragna's Smart combos.

yeah like it was said above,you have to delay a bit in the gauntled hades follow up,otherwise youwill fail the combo due to the altitude

I mean, 214b -> delay b -> 5a was a mechanic even in Calamity Trigger.

You can tap up to jump cancel from most actions, even moreso in this game. Example, you can jump cancel from the second hit of Ragna's B Smart combo and go into an air combo. From there you can do either A, A or A, B then quickly up up or Up-forward and do the same thing again. All characters in the game can Double jump. Its an ASW tradition. Sorta.

It means you can jump out of a normal attack on hit. sometimes you can jump out of a normal attack when its on block.

Persnaly i recomend you focus more on tag combo extenders.
They are way mroe impotant than single character combos.

These help too, but at the brief cost of your combo breaker. So, if you're gonna use an assist extender, make it count.

I disagree. You will definitely want a decent amount of single combos, especially later on. Being able to take advantage of single character combos will allow you to take much better advantage of resonance once you have only one char left. If you rely too heavily on assist combos, you'll be screwed when your partner dies. Yes, it is important to learn combos with tags, single player combos are not as unimportant as you express. Especially since assists can also aid in approaching, if you rely on using only assist for your combos, you also make it much harder to combo after using your assist for approaching.
