Any DLC characters people really want?

I am interested in knowing what the community thinks

my personal want is more RWBY representation and Makoto Yuki the persona 3 protagonist

I just want someone from Guilty Gear tbh... Sin, Leo, Chipp, or Answer would fit the bill for this goofy game..
[Unpopular opinion] Also adding other Senran Kagura charas (Mori pls gibe Hikage or Ayame).

I'm really hoping that the Senran Kagura leak was real, but there's no way to be sure. As a big fan of the annie-may tiddies series, that leak alone sealed my day 1 purchase + the season pass, as I've been on the verge of buying it on day 1 or not.

First of, complete the roster from the base series.

Then, we can think about other franchises. (you can remove Guilty Gear, they said they plan a specific "Guilty Gear X Balzblue" once the GG storyline is done.

The problem of adding JNPR chars stems on Jaune being possibly the blandest char in aspect of fighting, since he has no distinctive move or fighting style whatsoever. He might even be worse than Dan. And also maybe Ren.
Nora seems to be closer to Yang in fighting style so it might be an overlap there like the Murakumo sisters.
I'll admit Pyrrha is awesome tho

A couple of idea for your JNPR movelist:
Jaune: You may have a point in his moveset being lackluster, but he could end up being like Bang, bad in the first game, very good with mix-ups near the end.
Nora: As far as i know Yang has no Stoic/Super Armor, so have Nora have a few moves with SA, and maybe one of her specials could be getting hit by lightning, but having a boost to her moveset for a few seconds.
Pyrrha: Very tricky thinking about her, since she uses some force or something, so it kinda reminds me of Magneto from MvC, so a mid-close range fighter with a pushback move without the meter.
Ren: Another tricky one, only thing that appears in my mind is having a dash projectile *run and gun*, and when close to the target from doing the move he could do another input for follow-up moves, so 236A *run and gun*, 214A, *launcher*, 236B *airiel hard knockdown*

From mine understanding of RWBY Jean is not ''born loser'' but just undertrained unlucky guy whith potential. He improved alot in Beacon (or how this acadeny were called) despite not attending military school earlier. ALso lets dont forget that when girls played board game and one of them ragequitted because of losing he got in and managed to win supposedely hopeless situation.
Nora could actually use lightning dust (I think there is one like this but I'm not RWBY geek so I dont remember) to lose some health and gain bonus damage.
Pyrrha reminds you Magneto because she has exactly the same power. She has magnetic semblance. I think some of her moves could have pull, some push. She also need one move that takes advantage of her weapon throw. Overally she has the most potential of her team to be a satisfactory BBTAG character.
When it comes to Ren I dont see him in this game. Your idea of gun and run looks like Gamora from MvCI. I play her along Venom but it doesnt mean I want to play her again in BBTAG.
Overally I would forget about Ren in BB. For gameplay quality sake.
If somebody more of RWBy characters should be present in BBTAG it should be Pyrrha and Raven I think.

I dont exactly like guest characters but since this game is mix of sources I would loved to see Ronan the Accuser with universal weapon. Yeah I love 2 handed hammers.
