BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle

Is BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle good or worth buying?
When BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle was announced, I almost joy-puked. They have my whole crew in there. They've got Hazama, Hakumen AND Jubei? They even went and did their BlazBlue thing with all those specific character interactions and I'm almost taken with that alone. I'm somewhat experienced in P4AU (PerSHOna) and fully experienced in the entire BlazBlue console series. I was introduced to 2D fighters with Guilty Gear Midnight Carnival back in 03 and I've preferred the mechanics in BB and GG games.

Now I've recently heard a rumor that Guilty Gear characters might come to BBCTB and thinking about it, I can hardly breathe. But after playing the demo, I'm...unimpressed, I guess? But a demo isn't enough to base the whole game on. Is there no option for Technical or Stylish in the main game? Because it feels like the whole game is stylish mode and I'm not sure if I'm going to get Hazama at full throttle or some knockoff named Hamauzu with gutted potential. Watching the game is great, but is it just as fun to play as all the other BlazBlue games before it?

Could I get some opinions from a few who have played the game a while and have kind of become advanced at the mechanics available and what kinds of play styles they allow? If it's relevant, I've played a lot of fighting games since the 90's, so I'm at least open and exposed to a variety of fighting game styles. Soul Calibur, Dead or Alive, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, DragonBall Fighterz, Naruto (lol) Power Stone, Tekken, Fatal Fury (Terry Bogard! Geese Howard!) Skullgirls, Battle Arena Toshinden, Killer Instinct, Anarchy Reigns...etc etc.

If you come into this game expecting BlazBlue or Guilty Gear, prepare for a disappointment because it barely plays like any of them.
It's basically a Marvel Vs game with a BlazBlue skin.
You may find some enjoyment if you liked the crazyness of Skullgirls tag battles.

And no, there is no stylish or technical. There is normal, and nothing else. You also get 3 assists (4/5/6 P) and Cross Combo (P+D).
Game's about setting up nasty things with an assist as fast as possible and establishing screen/neutral dominance with priviledged moves and not as much about traditional footsies or nuanced defense mechanics.
It's very aggressive.

EDIT: No official confirmation of any GG characters so far, and by the looks of it I doubt it.
