Controller does not work after the latest update
For some reason my hori fighting commander stopped working after the newest patch. Have tried everything i can think of to fix it but no success. It still works with other games just fine... Just not this one. Can anyone help me out? Anyone else experiencing this?

hori? ehhh xbox 1 controller is the best on PC honestly id spend the 20-30 bucks and grab one never had an issue

This... Did not really help me... But anyway... The reason i like the hori fighting commander for fighting games is because it has a really nice d-pad and button layout. Really enjoy it. I use a PS4 controller or a switch pro controller for other games on PC btw.

I see, anyways, my Rock Candy X360 controller works fine with the latest update. I dunno how the Hori Fighting Commander works into this, as I don't own one, sadly.

I see. Well i managed to get it to work... Sort of. I had to enable the 360 controller support from steam big picture mode and then emulate the controller as a 360 controller... Even though it was already showing up as a 360 controller and worked fine in steam menus/other games without me having to do that... Bit of a odd workaround but i guess this case is technically solved ha. Its weird that i need to do that when it worked fine before the latest update *shrug*

yeah i came home wanting to play with the homies and found out my stick wasnt working, which is strange because it was working yesterday. i tried my stick in guilty gear and it worked fine, even tried launching the game in big picture and even that didnt work. finna try verifying the game praying

That sucks D: If steam picks up the controller try to emulate it as a controller for blazblue. Thats how i got mine to work again... Only workaround i found. And before that latest update i didn't need to lol. Verifying the game files did nothing for me btw. I even redownloaded the game and still no go.

I have a pair of 5 dollar controller still no issue at all.

I had something similar happen. Using a Playstation 2 controller with USB adapter. Suddenly wasn't recognized by the game anymore yesterday. All I had to do was to close the game, unplug the USB and put it back in.
Same happened on BlazBlue Centralfiction yesterday as well, but there unplugging didn't fix it. Really weird.
