2 player on same PC

start the game then open the frends end chat page then click on frends select the frend you wana play with then click on his name then romote play togeter this is how you do it i still havent bought the game yet but this is how you can play any game that is made with splitscreen that inlouds the lego games end even doom 1 end doom 2

Is it possible to play locally with gamepads and a keyboard at the same time? I have my keyboard and a controller but they're both recognized as "player 1".

After a few tests, I can confirm that one controller simply shares the "player 1" spot with the keyboard, while further controllers connected to the PC will take the "player 2 / 3 / etc" spots.

You can play the (local mp) campaign online via parsec or rpt.

Yes, you can use DroidJoy and an android phone.
1 - Install the app on the phone and the server version on windows (droidjoy for windows).
2 - Connect the android to the server, so it will appears as a second controller.
3 - Start the game and press any button on android controller, so it will be associated with player 1, alongside with the keyboard.
4 - Now your physical controller is free to be used by player 2
