I seem to have the same issue. Running the game in Ubuntu 22.04 via Proton. The game launches, music can be heard but the screen stays black. Intel graphics on xorg.

For linux users having the blackscreen problem, try the game on windowed mode by pressing Alt + Enter, it solved it for me
