It doesn't make sense
The betting here really doesn't make sense. An AI player will bet the farm on a pair of dueces. Another time when you have a good open set (i.e. 2A, AK, KQ. etc.) you are up bid by a player with nothing. You find out when they win. I followed the world series for a few years and know that these cards are NOT randum but are stacked against the human palyer.

one of the inevitabilities of a poker game, people will say it's rigged against the player, this has come up on every Poker vs AI game that's ever been created, and only a handful did indeed have it rigged.

AI is somewhat "Random", as you're not playing world series of poker players, you're playing random men and women in taverns, with an occasional poker ace popping in here or there. Theres no guarentee that they are playing the best poker statistically or aren't intoxicated and random.

I took it as the AI character is bluffing.

Since we can't look at their faces, body movements, etc, then we only have the fact that they bid "high" on some bad cards, but we don't know that for sure. If we can't call and match, or don't want to raise the bet, because our cards are not that great, then we fold.

i call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sir, but i have a claim against that earlier today i had a good hand and whenever i bet a small ammount of money every ai folded, and whenever i had a garbage hand or was planning to just try and "check my way out of it" or just do a check they raise. so its very clear that lots of players can see that the ai is rigged and is against the players, maybe its just me being ♥♥♥♥ at the game but i think it the ai and not me, i play cautiosly and try and not to play on garbage starting hands, if anything the ai isnt random but cheating.

also not to worry im refunding my money back, so even if it isnt cheating which i HIGHLY doubt, then im not going to play this game anymore anyways, i'd be better off to play the online version.

Absolutely the cards aren't random. I tracked over 150 instances of AI players with pocket pairs and they hit sets almost exactly 50% of the time - it's easy to track since AI players NEVER fold them (no wonder). The actual odds of that are about 1 in 7 which, coincidentaly, is about the amount of times you the player hit a set on PP. So, with AA against 22, you lose as much as you win. If you're against 2 players with lower PP, you're almost guaranteed to lose. Not to mention straights and flushes. They hit flush draws the same 50% of the time. And I watched one AI player hit a straight 5 times ih a row. One of those times, he went all in pre-flop (entire stack) with 9 10 offsuit against AA and KK. Of course, the flop comes up 6 7 8 rainbow. Since he was the last to call, the idea of bluffing is out the window.

And not to mention just the generally ridiculous turn/river cards. I play a lot of live poker so am used to "bad beats" but this game is unreal. Going in with the best hand is at best a 50/50 chance if not worse. It's off the charts how often an AI will call a huge raise or all in with low or second pair with a crap kicker then end up with two pairs, three of a kind or some stupid running straight or flush or better.

The AI betting/ card dealing is outrageously stupid and, more importantly, takes a lot of fun out of the game.
