AI is somewhat "Random", as you're not playing world series of poker players, you're playing random men and women in taverns, with an occasional poker ace popping in here or there. Theres no guarentee that they are playing the best poker statistically or aren't intoxicated and random.
Since we can't look at their faces, body movements, etc, then we only have the fact that they bid "high" on some bad cards, but we don't know that for sure. If we can't call and match, or don't want to raise the bet, because our cards are not that great, then we fold.
And not to mention just the generally ridiculous turn/river cards. I play a lot of live poker so am used to "bad beats" but this game is unreal. Going in with the best hand is at best a 50/50 chance if not worse. It's off the charts how often an AI will call a huge raise or all in with low or second pair with a crap kicker then end up with two pairs, three of a kind or some stupid running straight or flush or better.
The AI betting/ card dealing is outrageously stupid and, more importantly, takes a lot of fun out of the game.
