I build the five statues and stayed in me middle for a good while and nothing happened, until I got hot with enough rocks to lose the game. Again.
Still not really sure if I understand it correctly. Did you have to target the meteors onto the ceramics? I found the ending rather confusing than entertaining.
The best way to beat it is to run and pay for all the statues, and make sure you dont run out of stamina. The boss will throw rocks, you gotta sprint out of those, and then walk again, or else you run out of stamina. When all statues are paid for, go back and TRY to make sure the builders dont loose their hammers. Once all statues are built, pay the middle statue with your own crown, and you win.
REALLY weird fight, pure chaos, and easy to miss the part where you spend your own crown at the end.
As some have said before, the boss fight is *not ideal* at best for the mechanics of the game. The whole last island was frustrating than challenging for me. Having only one vagrant camp would make the island challenging on paper, but in reality it just drags the whole out. The greed can't really get through your lines with your and your mount's skills, so you'll end up waiting, building your force up for a push. Since you can't get through the snek (even with the pegasus jump), there isn't really a whole lot to do.
I think if you constantly attack the weak spots of the snek, no enemies will spawn. My theory is that if the snake is on the map, it is the only portal that can be active. So if the snek if hurt and asleep, you are safe.
I also felt that the island was pointless. Felt as boring as a winter.
Yep, and it took so long for me to finish building the horse that it got to winter, and by that point I was too bothered to wait for a full coin pouch. That probably didn't help my boss attempt.
