How to beat Call Of Olympus Final Boss on mount Olympus
So I finished the trojan horse and entered the gate at Mount Olympus, the final island in call of olympus. I only have a handful of builders and 3 archers (archers are on top of the trojan horse and the builders push the horse). I was able to build all the statues and got to the end where a stone portal is. The annoying giant in the background keeps throwing rocks with greed in them. How do I beat this thing? what do the statues do?

nvm found it. There's a white statue of 2 people before the greed portal, you need to put the crown in the statue to end it. Pretty simple and hiding in plain sight.

Thanks for sharing, I was also stumped.

You mean the crown on your monarch or the crown on the horse?
I build the five statues and stayed in me middle for a good while and nothing happened, until I got hot with enough rocks to lose the game. Again.

I also don't get it. how can you move the horse? What is the point of all that? Just walking around, rebulding the statues?

Made it.
Still not really sure if I understand it correctly. Did you have to target the meteors onto the ceramics? I found the ending rather confusing than entertaining.

The pottery is just there to be broken in case you need to top up on your coins so that you can finish rebuilding the statues and thus clearing the way for the final offering.

meanwhile: my builders dont even build the trojan horse

I thought that first too. You'll have to push the snake back first by attacking its weak point in the water, then leading the charge against its head. Your builders will then be able to move forward to start assembling the basic pieces - though you'll still need to advance further to grab the last components.

advanced now, but got only 3 wheels and 1 crown

same here, only 3 wheels and 1 crown, no idea how to get the fourth wheel ....

Strategy for that boss is fairly simple, problem is this game isnt really designed for it, its just pure chaos.

The best way to beat it is to run and pay for all the statues, and make sure you dont run out of stamina. The boss will throw rocks, you gotta sprint out of those, and then walk again, or else you run out of stamina. When all statues are paid for, go back and TRY to make sure the builders dont loose their hammers. Once all statues are built, pay the middle statue with your own crown, and you win.

REALLY weird fight, pure chaos, and easy to miss the part where you spend your own crown at the end.

Best strategy for me: pay for the statues one-by-one, dodge the rocks in a way so they hit vases (so the spawning greed will grab the coins and leave the workers alone). Make your way towards the last statue this way, then run back to the middle and place your crown on the statue.

As some have said before, the boss fight is *not ideal* at best for the mechanics of the game. The whole last island was frustrating than challenging for me. Having only one vagrant camp would make the island challenging on paper, but in reality it just drags the whole out. The greed can't really get through your lines with your and your mount's skills, so you'll end up waiting, building your force up for a push. Since you can't get through the snek (even with the pegasus jump), there isn't really a whole lot to do.

For me (normal difficulty) the last island was totally pointless. I had only one side to defend, two vagrant camps, and something seemed to be bugged with the enemies because most of the time no gate opened (even at blood moon I was not attacked).

I think if you constantly attack the weak spots of the snek, no enemies will spawn. My theory is that if the snake is on the map, it is the only portal that can be active. So if the snek if hurt and asleep, you are safe.

I also felt that the island was pointless. Felt as boring as a winter.

Yep, and it took so long for me to finish building the horse that it got to winter, and by that point I was too bothered to wait for a full coin pouch. That probably didn't help my boss attempt.
