Soundtrack not playing in the game

As the title suggests I am only hearing the sound effects and some occasional ambient background music but other than that there is no music at all. Anyone else run into this or know of a solution?

first, check the settings. you can turn just music off and you may have inadvertently done that.

second, try save+quit and resume.

third, try a new campaign slot, and see if music works there, and continues not to work in your current campaign. if so...

last, try uninstall + reinstall.
