Hired hippocampus, now can’t move

I unlocked the hippocampus mount, paid to swap onto it and could no longer move left or right. Issue persists after completely shutting down the game application and starting back up.

So many bugs in this game now…

I'm having the same issue but in multiplayer. I'm on the hippocampus and now I'm stuck, can't move, can't spend coins.

Got the same issue, I'm in multi too my wife is hosting the party.

Here is a workaround if player 2 is stuck on the mount without being able to move.

As the hosting player (Player 1):
- Disconnect from multiplayer
- Enable local split-screen coop
- You should now should now be able to move Player 2 normally using a second controller or HJK keyboard controls
- Switch Player 2 to any non-Hippocampus mount
- End local coop and initiate online multiplayer again
