Missing Gem

So I just beat the game this morning and I noticed that I'm missing exactly 1 gem. (I have 3 out of the 4 gems needed to buy the last hermit. Have everything else unlocked.)

I've already destroyed all the portals and caves, I've recovered a hermit and a dog on a previous island but no gems. Does the 5th island just not give gems back? Or maybe it's because I'm playing Dead Lands?

Or is it a bug?

And with that said is there a cheat or something that gives you free gems? I'm curious to see what the last hermit does and don't particularly feel like restarting the entire campaign over right now. (I'll probably start a 2nd savefile eventually but right now I just want to savior the win, and I'm sooo close to 100%'ing it.)
