No stone mine on second island

Hello there. I've started a new map the other day, and the stone mine (or quarry) is not present on the second island. All I can find is a big dome in stone or rock, but can't activate it. I went back the first island, then went back on the second island, and it's still not there.
Did they transfer the stone mine on another island or something? Is it a bug? Any help would be appreciated.

Mines are only found on big islands. I don't know what you mean by second island since there are small and big islands (assuming you're talking about call of olympus). You won't find a mine if you went to another small island after the first.

for clarification:
if you talk about Basic/Shogun/Northland: Second isle is where you find the stone mine or for Northland the Woodworks.
if you talk about Olympus the stonemine is at the first big Godisle in a corner you visit.
when it is Olympus and you are new: be warned there is also the Chimera mount cave that look like a stonecliff with a big chained bolder in the middle. it will spawn at a random isle, so maybe it is for you at the same isle and you mistock it.

Hello. Thanks to both of you for your reply. The version I'm playing is simply Kingdom Two Crowns without any DLC. I finally found the stone mine. It's on the 4th island. It's a huge industrial building.

in normal mode, it should be on the second island, and iron on the 4th
did you manage to get to island 4 with just wood walls?
or did you managed to get stone before that, i'm not sure how you managed to go straight from wood to iron?

Probably skipped past the first upgrade, and then carried on. You can't even purchase the second materials upgrade without the first - at least as of Norse Lands, because I tested that out once for my own personal amusement.

its ether the game glitched out, not totally surprising, the game has acquired some weird glitches since the greek DLC came out or i suspect they found the stone mine early on the second island and forgot about it since its cheap

Yeah, good point actually. There's some really weird bugs that have shown up specifically for non-Olympus and coop games. Something under the hood must've been tweaked and had some unexpected knock-on effects. Coding do be like that.

You're right. I got a pretty weird one awhile ago. I rung the bell to order my men to go on the ship, and then bought a bomb to attack a portal. Well, believe it or not, I've ended up having 2 knights in the river following me without any archers to enter in the portal lol. I couldn't unbug it so I took the ship, and went on a different island.

if you guys read to the end what he wrote you have seen this. and thats not the decription of the stone quary, but the iron mine....
so no buggy swap of stone to isle 4....

I think in the vanilla version there's only one industry, and it's the stone mine. Here's the wiki page that talks about it:

It says it's located located on the second island, which I'm pretty sure used to be the case, but changed it. It's now on the 4th island, and it looks very different than the image we see on the wiki. There's no iron mine. Only the stone mine. No constructions ask for any additional add-ons.

By the way, last time I played that game it was years ago, and I was able to change theme like the Japanese theme, but now there's only one theme, and it's the medieval one. It looks different than the old medieval version.

calling a big puregrey stone with a few carved in holes an industrial building is more than far fetched.
